Louisville 23-7, 12-5 In Conference and Virginia-23-6, 12-5 In Conference
In the last game of the season for the Louisville Cardinals, they will be playing the Virginia Cavaliers. Louisville will be playing with a lot of emotion since their two graduate seniors will be playing their last collegiate game due to a self-imposed postseason ban. Many people didn’t agree with the Louisville president James Ramsey’s decision, but it is something that us Louisville fans will have to deal with. Even though it is the teams last game of the season it will make for an entertaining contest.
In the first meeting of the year between the two respective teams Virginia won the game 63-47. Louisville will be looking to avenge that loss and end the season on a high note. It is going to be a tough defensive game but the result should be much closer this game. The game will come down to if Virginia can stop Louisville in transition, and if Louisville can stop Virginia’s extremely fundamental offense. It should be a very entertaining, physical, and low scoring game.
This game will be a low scoring affair with one team making big shots at the end to pull off the victory. These two great defensive teams will both struggle to score in the first half, but once these two great coaches make their half time adjustments, the scoring will pick up. The game will be a defensive battle but in the end Louisville with the determination of seniors Damion Lee and Trey Lewis Louisville will close out the season with a win and hopefully at this time an ACC regular season title.
