Why he is here
Heading into Last year most didn’t even know who Manu was, but after an impressive showing early and Baylor’s historic ride to the number one ranking Leconte became a household name in College Basketball. Lecomte became the go to playmaker for the Bears including a game winner against Iowa State. He tailed off late in the year after battling some injuries but it is clear he will be a household name in the Big 12 this year.
Role on this years team
This year Lecomte will be asked to take a Big step forward and improve the numbers as Baylor lost Johnathan Motley to the NBA Draft. Look for Leconte to lead Baylor averaging around 17 and 5 this year and look for Leconte to be called upon to hit big shots if need be in a tight game.
College season/ NBA Prospects
Manu Lecomte is a very talented guard but being 5’11” is an extreme disadvantage to making it in the NBA. Most likely he will play overseas most likely in Europe.
