Why he is here
Rodney Bullock is the unquestioned leader of a very good Providence team who quietly brings back everyone from last years team. Last year Bullock was forced into a new role as the teams leader and he excelled in that role posting good numbers and leading Providence to the NCAA Tournament. Now as a senior look for him to continue to thrive as he and the Friars look to contend for a Big East title.
Role on this years team
This year Bullock will remain the steady Power Forward he was a season ago looking to lead the Friars in scoring and getting rebounds. Don’t be surprised if his numbers drop a little bit as more players try to get involved but overall when his team will need him he will be able to score what is needed.
College season/ NBA Prospects
Rodney Bullock is a great College Player however he faces certain challenges being only 6’8” and playing Power Forward. No one questions Bullock’s talent and ability on the floor but he is likely too short to play that position in the NBA. If Bullock wants to make it in the league he will have to battle his way onto the court by playing bigger than his size and learning to score from three point range otherwise he still would be a great player overseas.
