Devonte’ Graham

PG/SG 6’2

2016-2017 Stats (Junior): 13.4 Points, 4.1 Assists, and 3.1 Rebounds per game.

Why They Are Here

Devonte’ Graham is our first player to crack the top 10 coming in at #10. He was considered more of a role player last year for Kansas, but showed us that he could be the leading scorer if he chose to. Devonte’ has the chance to be the leader of the very young and talented Jayhawks this year. His overall skill set is what allows him to start the year as a top 10 player.

Role on the Team

Graham will be playing along-side upperclassman Svi Mykhailiuk in the back court this season. Both are prominent three point shooters and will use that to their advantage in order to spread the floor. Graham has many slashers and finishers to work with this year from incoming freshman to stud transfers. Devonte’ and Svi will be responsible for how far this Kansas team goes this year, but Graham will have most say in how the season goes because he is a factor on both sides of floor. If Graham plays to his abilities he could easily be a player of the year candidate this season.

College Season/NBA Prospects

Devonte’ Graham’s draft stock is not very high because we have not witnessed his full potential as a leader in all aspects for Kansas. It is up to him find a way to grow as a player and prepare for the NBA this season and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. It is tough to predict when he will be drafted so on this player it is a wait and see type scenario.
