One of the top remaining seniors in the nation is winding down his recruitment. 2017 5-star small forward Kevin Knox will announce his college decision on Saturday, a source told College Pride Press. The Tampa native is expected to make his choice over national television, likely on ESPNU.
Knox announced a top 5 of Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina back in September. Missouri has since jumped in his recruitment primarily due to the landing of the No. 1 senior in Michael Porter Jr. Rumors circulated last week that Missouri has been cut from Knox’s list, but his father later refuted that report.
Duke is currently the overwhelming favorite for Knox. Duke holds 83 percent of the 247Sports Crystal Ball, while North Carolina holds 13 percent and Kentucky owns 4 percent. Florida State and Missouri own zero predictions each. It’s difficult to not favor the Blue Devils in Knox’s recruitment, considering several analysts believe so.
Knox is the third-best remaining senior in the nation, according to 247Sports. His recruitment has certainly been one of the more intriguing ones throughout the year, but we are very close to the termination of his process.
