Oregon picks up first commit of 2018 Class

Oregon’s first commitment in the 2018 Class is a great start for Dana Altman and the Ducks.

On Wednesday evening, four-star forward Miles Norris committed to Oregon over the likes of Arizona, UCLA, and multiple others.

Norris is a 6-foot-9 forward from San Diego, California who is ranked 32nd is the Class of 2018 according to 247 Composite Rankings.

Many have compared Norris’ game to that of former Oregon F Chris Boucher.  Both Norris and Boucher have great length at the four position.  Scouts and other college coaches believe Norris has great upside which bodes well for him as he has the potential to become a very good college basketball player.

Norris is the sixth player in the 247 Class of 2018 Top-40 rankings to commit.
