CPP Top 100: #83 Parker Jackson-Cartwright

Parker Jackson-Cartwright

G 5’11 170

2016-2017 Stats: 5.9 Ppg, 2.5 Rpg, 4.1 Apg

Why Are They Here?

Jackson-Cartwright is on this list for his exceptional spot up shooting and ability to create for his teammates. With scorers all

around him Parker flourished in his role as the distributor, averaging a team high 4.1 assists per game. With an even better team

around him this year (ranked preseason #1 USA Today), look for Jackson-Cartwright to put up even more assists per game, along

with an even higher 3 point percentage.

Role on The Team

Parker Jackson-Cartwright will take on the role of the senior leader of this stacked wildcats team. He should see an increase in

playing time with the departure of starting guard Kadeem Allen, and that should translate to a surge in almost every statistical

category. Like I said earlier he will be in charge of distributing the ball to the scorers around him (Trier 17.2 ppg, Alkins 10.9 ppg).

He will also have the convenience of having the top rated big man, DeAndre Ayton (along with a top 5 recruiting class), to pass the

ball to for the 2017-18 season.

College Season/ NBA Prospects

Parker Jackson-Cartwright is undersized at a listed 5’11 170. His size and inability to get into the paint against bigger and

lengthier guards and wings is what keeps Parker out of any draft talks for now. If he is able to show the ability to get to, and finish

in the paint to go along with his high IQ and court vision he should find a shot at an NBA job by this time next year.
