After winning a national championship this past season with La Lumiere, 2018 4-star point guard Tyger Campbell made his college decision on Monday committing to play ball for Dave Leitao and the DePaul Blue Demons.
Originally from the Class of 2019, Campbell also announced via his Twitter page that we would reclassify from the 2019 Class and join the Class of 2018.

Campbell was on the DePaul campus this past week for an unofficial visit. Last week, Shane Herman, who was Campbell’s high school coach the past two seasons, was hired as an assistant on Coach Leitao’s coaching staff.
“It was a really big deal,” Campbell said to ESPN about the hiring of Herman. “I look up to him off the court. He’s such a great guy and I know he has my back. We’ve been through a lot the last two years, on the court, off the court. It played a big part.”
DePaul has also been a late guest to the Brian Bowen recruiting party, a 5-star recruit in the 2017 Class who was also a teammate of Campbell at La Lumiere with Herman as the head coach.
