CPP Top 100: #9 Trevon Blueitt

Trevon Bluiett

Xavier

G 6’6 185

2016-2017 Stats: 18.5 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.1 apg

Why they are here:

Bluiett is Xavier’s best player and one of the best scorers in the Big East, if not all of college basketball. His natural scoring ability, along with his rebounding ability that saw him notch a couple of double-double in 2016 helped to lead Xavier deep into the NCAA tournament.

Role on this year’s team:

Bluiett returns as Xavier’s best player and Chris Mack’s go-to guy. As he has throughout the past couple of years, Bluiett will shoulder a lot of the load offensively, while guys like JP Macura contribute where needed.

College season/ NBA Prospect

Bluiett is a guy who is reminiscent of a player like Josh Hart, a guy who stayed all four years and was a solid contributor for all four of those years. Bluiett seems like an early-mid second round pick at this point, but could propel himself into the back end of the first round with a productive senior season.
